Bear,
None of the OT 10 commandments directly say "love thy neighbor." But, I think it is part of the First Commandment. I may be wrong. But I think Loving God and your neighbor, is. That is what I was taught in CCD and at Sunshine Summer, and from my conversations with my Priest. Love thy neighbor, and love God, the most important, and the first commandment.
I do see your argument that it doesn't directly spell it out in any commandments. But in the Catechism it does, and that is what I look at for explanations as the meaning of things in the Bible. I don't read the KJV of the Bible, I don't think it works like that. Catholics don't really read the Bible and interpret. It is done for us by Bible Scholars and put into context for us. I don't think anyone on the V is really able to explain or understand the Bible enough to argue it successfully.
No, I certainly am not a shining example of loving my neighbor. Especially lawyers. I think everyone that knows me, knows that I loathe lawyers. Especially ones that free child molesters and are intentionally dishonest.
Best Regards,
Donovan

Donovan, and Visionaries,
Donovan you're wrong and just wiggling now. I'll get you off the hook and ask a straight
forward question:
YOU stated, "First, the Ten Commandants say to "Love your Neighbor". Simple question,
WHICH
ONE of the TEN COMMANDMENTS says that?
If you can't answer it, it ends this discussion of which you are so ill equipped to
participate in.
And I love how YOU demonstrate how YOU love your neighbors by verbally abusing Sunil and
calling him names! A great example!
