[Vision2020] Doug Wilson's NW answer

Two days ago, I emailed Doug Wilson to see if he was No Weatherman or if he knew he or another Anselm House habitue' was presumed to be No Weatherman.  I told him Weatherman was not only a real ass, but, if not him or one of his staff or elders, someone  who also undoubtedly enjoys the fact that many people think his missives originate from a Kirker, if not from Wilson himself.  Here is our correspondence, in which he says he isn't and doesn't know who is, with my thanks:

have no idea. I am not "No Weatherman," and don't know of anyone who
might be doing that. I don't even know enough to say whether I would mind being "No Weatherman."

So there are three things I know without dispute:

1.  No Weatherman is a coward, a bigot, a troublemaker and a snot who refuses to answer my offlist questions about his identity.

2.  Wilson says it isn't him or, to his knowledge, no one he knows.

3.  That doesn't mean it ISN'T someone he knows, and it doesn't mean that person ISN'T enjoying the presumption of Anselm-ness that is the conventional wisdom.  And yeah -- I still think it likely is a Kirker.

And, one more for today:   The whole thing is terribly, terribly sad, and if Wilson does ever discover who NW is, I hope he acts pastoral and, figuratively, gives him a swift kick in the ass.
