It is rather clear that you don't understand the problem.  Can't 
really help you with that - perhaps read all the posts again.

But I didn't see any problem with the NRA fundraising efforts - 
straight forward stuff - give your name and contact information and 
give your money.  Typical 527 structure.  You get your name noted as 
a donor.  I did not see any promo encouraging me to donate in honor 
of someone else - especially someone who dislikes guns.  If they did 
encourage that I would have the same concerns as I have over the Palin issue.

As to trying to tell you what charities to support - where do you get that?

I don't give one toot who you give your money too (although you 
should seriously consider the NRA);-)) - I just ask that you give it 
without "honoring" someone who you know is opposed to the objectives 
of your charity.
