This photo kinda takes me back to Reception Station (Fort Ord, California)
on June 19, 1969, except we new recruits back then didn't have the
benefit/comfort of a chair or apron.  Some day I'll have to share a couple
photos with y'all (one photo taken two days before I enlisted, the other
taken my first time in uniform the day after "the haircut"), two absolutely
totally different looking people.

 

Those were the days, my friend, . . .
