Paul,
Luck has nothing to do with it. People with Aspergers don't know social rules, or more accurately stated, have different social understandings, and will always anger people, especially the ones that are sensitive or expect everyone to treat them a certain way.
Kids handle their differences by beating them up. Adults belittle them publicly, attack them personally, fire them, sue them, socially alienate them, take advantage of them financially. The only difference between these kids and adults is the manner in which they express their disillusion and offense to their way of thinking and interacting with others.
Best,
Donovan

There's way more good people than bad in this world. You just don't see
the good ones on CNN that often.
I'm sorry if you've had bad experiences in the past. Just rotten luck
to run up against the bad sort of people, I guess. Trust me when I tell
you that not everyone is like that. You can even find the good in the
bad, if you look hard enough.
