[Vision2020] Public Ice Rink meeting

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Moscow Ice Rink Task Force invites YOU to review the Task Force's
final recommendation concerning a permanent site for the Ice Rink.

 

On March 6, the Task Force hosted a public session on possible sites for
consideration as the home of the Palouse Ice Rink, operation and
management strategies, and funding options for the various
possibilities. Using that information, in the weeks that followed, the
Task Force has met a number of times and has discussed various funding
options, reviewed management principles, and examined numerous sites. 

 

What you will see at this meeting is the final recommendation of the
Task Force that they intend to forward to their respective groups, the
Moscow City Council, the Latah County Board of Commissioners, the Rotary
Veterans Memorial Pavilion, Inc., and the Palouse Ice Rink Association,
Inc. (PIRA). 

 

The Task Force invites your comments and ideas about the proposed
recommendation. The Task Force promised to take your views into account
and this meeting gives you the opportunity to assess our work. Please
come and be part of this continuing discussion.

 

MEETING DATE: Wednesday, May 16, 2007.            

 

LOCATION OF MEETING: Multi-Purpose Room, Hamilton Indoor Recreation
Center, 1724 East F Street next to the Hamilton Lowe Aquatics Center,
Moscow, Idaho.

 

MEETING TIME: 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

 

Public input is invaluable in this exciting time! Please come and
participate!
