I don't think I have ever fully and simultaneously agreed with both Crabtree and Livingston. I certainly do on this one.

Frankly, when people start attacking Sgt. Phil Gray, falsely and without basis in fact, especially when the complainant doesn't even have the law enforcement job description right, it really is nauseating. Probation and Parole monitors compliance with conditions of probation. Phil does things like putting his life at risk, coming in from off-duty and with his own vehicle placing himself in the field of fire of a maddened sniper, twice, so he can rescue downed fellow officers, dying and wounded, and get them out of the field of fire.

I agree that some people's obsession with Sitler's whereabouts certainly seems to have less to do with broad-based community concerns and more to do with how to embarrass a church for the shortcomings they perceive in its pastor. I sense that many have grown weary of the continuing, Sitler-based, attacks on the church itself, but when you start throwing verbal napalm beyond that primary target to others, your insen! sitivity and indiscrimination causes you to lose whatever credibility you might have had with whatever remaining folks were still listening. Once you have lost the moral high ground with these intemperate, ill-advised attacks, your audience and ability to influence the rest of the community is lost.

  Bruce Livingston

  > Very well put. I've often tried to point out the rank hypocrisy of "Ford" and her many anti-CC friends on this forum in the past but never as well as you just did, Thank you. Also, I know how stressful it is when fools (or a particular fool in this case) make remarks that call for an end to ones livelihood because you wont get on bo! ard with their jihad. Please know that no one with an actual functioning cortex wants to see anyone from your household deprived of employment or happiness.
