Well that's an interesting deduction. The major fallacy is your inference the mission of education is the same now as it was in 1965, and the population it served then is the same population it serves now. Not true.

WOW! Either Hansen has not included 2/3 of the Moscow High School administration and 1/2 the faculty OR MSD in 2007 needs twice as many teachers and 2/3 more administration to get done what teachers and administrators could do in 1965 with 25% more students.
Best,

Two things, Ted -
1) I retrieved this information from the 1965 Moscow High School Yearbook laying on the desk here in front of me.
2) I have just now finished updating the site (class-by-class, name-by-name), to include the seniors, juniors, sophomores, and freshmen.

As I mentioned earlier, photos are available of those students whose names appear in blue text, upon request. I am not about to scan 750-800 individual photos for the sake of the website.
If somebody wishes to retrieve a copy of a photo, simply ask for it by-name followed by the word "please".

All-
Moscow High students in the Fall of 1965 entered the school as the last group of students, so far, where Moscow High was a four year school. The information you posted does not include or mention the 9th grade freshman class, which for continuing students was the lowest class at Moscow High two years in a row, due to the 9th grade being moved to the Moscow Jr. High in the Fall of 1966.
Can you provide the exact Moscow High web site URL to the information you posted on your web site, regarding Moscow High in 1965?
I have not been able to easily find if off the Moscow High web site:
