[Vision2020] AND THE BEAT GOES ON!

Doug Wilson's "parenting" columns in Credenda/Agenda tell us a lot about his view of "Godly" crying and wimpy, sissyfied, manipulative crying, especially by boys.  Which is good.  Lord knows the world has suffered greatly because real men have allowed themselves to freely express genuine feelings of sentiment and empathy, sadness and grief, and haven't thus resorted to aggression and antagonism or anything destructive like that.  The men in my life have never beat anyone up, and anyone who ever tried to coax my sons into physical aggression as children might find themselves the recipient of a verbal smackdown that would rival a roundhouse punch to the kidneys.  That "Christian" men would do so is nauseating and, in a word, sinful.
