[Vision2020] Moscow Has No Disaster Plan

The Ice rink was supposed to be a temporary structure. There are plans to build a new and bigger facility. I do not know all the details but it is my understanding that funding is available in the wings. Part of the hold up is the temporary nature of the permints. The county is not willing to waste taxpayers money on paving which may be torn up. There is also the probability that a new rink could be built elsewhere. Money should not be wasted. Some sort of an arrangement needs to be made with the city until this issue is settled. A lot of people from outside moscow use the rink. This brings in business for moscow merchants and benefits everyone. If this is not handled properly the rink could be build across the line, maybe in the Hawkins development.
