Visionaries,

As has been briefly discussed her on V2020, there have reportedly been
several instances of graffiti in Moscow over the past two months.
Yesterday, MPD issued the following press release:

"MOSCOW POLICE DEPARTMENT
CHIEF DANIEL L. WEAVER

Press Release

January 18, 2007

The Moscow Police Department has received a number of reports of "injury by
graffiti" over the last two months. "Injury by Graffiti" means - to damage
the property of another by painting, writing, or drawing.

In a number of these incidents the word, or initials, "ENOS", "CALM",
"SAIM", "THE PROPHET", and "THE ROOSEVELT CREW" have been used.

Many of the locations for these graffiti incidents, most recently, have been
at the back of buildings and in out of the way places. Some of the graffiti
has been on vehicles that are parked in these out of the way places.

A stencil has been used in some of the graffiti.

The graffiti is being made with various colors of spray paint and recently
the color red has been used a lot.

If you have information about the person(s) who is doing this crime, or any
similar crimes, please contact the Moscow Police Department.

If you have information about someone who you have seen with cans of spray
paint, please call the Moscow Police Department.

If you are a store owner, or a store employee, and a young person comes in
to buy spray paint, please identify them and then call the Moscow Police
Department.

There is a reward system in place for tips which lead to the identification
and prosecution of those who violate the law. By forwarding the information
to the Moscow Police Department you may be eligible for a monetary reward.
Rewards may be paid for information which leads to an arrest or conviction.
