Pat,

He has his auto-reply set in his email client.  So every time he
receives a message it sends out a reply that he is currently out of the
office.  Thankfully, he is set to get the digest so it only sends one
out once a day - otherwise we'd be swamped with them.  There's nothing
we can really do until he returns and turns it off.  It's meant to let
his regular contacts know that they shouldn't expect a reply from him
for a while - he probably didn't think about this list when he set it up.
