Snopes is only one data point. Check out several others to get a perspective (always a good idea) and then form your own opinion. Snopes is OK. I like the urban legend site more. Here's the link.

Jane Fonda was sizzling hot in Barbarella.

Snopes.com is often put forward in this forum as the definitive last word on
all matters of disputable fact. A thing to keep in mind is that the site is
not run by some all knowing, all powerful deity, it is run by Dave & Barb
Mikkelson, a web programmer and housewife respectively who live in the Los
Angeles area and they have been show on several occasions to allow their
decidedly liberal slant to be displayed on their site. While snopes may be
fine for arbitrating the odd alligators in the sewer myth or claims of
exploding household products, when it comes to matters touching on the
political one would do well to keep their gullibility on a short leash.
All that aside why would anyone need additional reasons to despise Jane
Fonda? Snopes or no snopes there is no question that what she did in Viet
Nam was despicable and that she is indeed a traitor to her country. Hell, On
Golden Pond and Agnes of God would be reason enough to vilify her.
g
P.S. Barbarella was probably her finest work and if that isn't damning her
with faint praise I don't know what is.
