RE: Logging Accident

 

Today at 10:24, Latah County Sheriff's Office, U.S. Forest Service Law
Enforcement, Deary Ambulance, and the Deary Quick Response Unit responded to
the Feather Creek area near north of Bovill for a reported logging accident.
Although MedStar was launched, it was ordered to stand down when units at
the scene reported the victim had passed away.  Latah County and U.S. Forest
Service law enforcement officers are still investigating the cause of the
accidental death of the 44 yea-old St. Maries man.  Benewah County
authorities are attempting to locate and notify family members.  No further
information is available at this time.
