NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


WHAT:	Public Hearing for the Proposed Latah County Land Use Ordinance  

For several years, the Latah County Planning Commission has been in the
public process of revising the existing land use ordinance to meet the needs
of the county and its residents.  The Commission has completed this stage of
the process and is seeking public input prior to forwarding its
recommendations to the Latah Board of County Commissioners.  The Planning
Commission's efforts are guided by the Latah County Comprehensive Land Use
Plan.  

WHEN:	5:35 PM, Tuesday, May 16, 2006 (TOMORROW!!)

WHERE: Moscow High School Auditorium, 3rd Street Entrance (Southwest corner
of VanBuren and 3rd Street, Moscow)

WHY: The public hearing is being conducted to take testimony on the proposed
ordinance.  The proposed ordinance can be seen on-line at
http://www.latah.id.us/Dept/PB_Main.htm.  A copy of the proposed ordinance
may also be obtained by contacting the Building and Planning Office, Latah
County Courthouse, Moscow, telephone: 208-883-7220.
