All of this sounds to me like 'We voted our own flavor of good ol' boy in to 
office and now we expect him to dance to the tune our dime bought.' How does 
this square with the silly prattle that I keep hearing about "backbone" and 
"no rubber stamps ?" It seems to me to be a case of "Now we're in, let's 
sack the joint for our own well being." Please spare me your high minded 
rhetoric. By your own words the previous councils where working to some 
benefit, even if in your own minds it was a select group's benefit. Your 
council is working outright towards a small groups downfall. How 
progressive. I say stick with the board of adjustment's unbiased, and 
unpurchased decision.
