Gentlemen and Ladies of the Congregation:

Below the line is a Vision 2020 post from Jackie, an apostate from the Christ Church Cult, followed by an extraordinary pious response from the Reverend Douglas Farris, a current Cult member in perfect standing.

I repeat these posts for two reasons:

1. I have received some interesting off-list comments to the first two posts in which I made reference to them.

2. Most and very, very importantly, there is an incredibly important lesson to be learned and a volcanic revelation to be had from Reverend Farris's kind, caring words.

First, let us carefully pore over Reverend Farris's most Christian comments so that we can appreciate their fundamental, perfectly and infinitely compassionate, merciful theological import:

The elders at Christ Church don't care for all the needs of the members. Some members get help and then mature and grow up and are able to meet their own needs. Some members never learn to take care of them selves and desire constant support. "Some learn to eat meat and some keep sucking the bottle."

To answer your question "what does one have to do to become part of the 'many people' in your church that you would be willing to care for?" [sic] just keep drinking milk and crying and they will continue to feed and [sic] [sic]change one's stinky diaper!

What an indescribably perfect example of the application of Christ's major dictum to "Turn the other cheek"!!!!!

Reverend Farris firmly turns Jackie's other cheek and in a most illustrative Cult fashion verbally slaps the holy f**king hell out of it, attempting to permanently scar it with humiliation and abasement, all with saintly, pure motivation spawned by Farris's and the Cult's soul satisfying, unquestionably true Christian righteousness.

Could any other utterance in recent history verify the perfect understanding that Cultmaster Wilson demonstrates of the true meaning of Jesus' words "Turn the other cheek"and the very reason for Jesus' existence? Certainly all of Jesus' writhing in horrific pain on the cross was meant to justify and to promulgate such truly fine acts of grace as illustrated by Farris's tender, perfectly merciful, awash in love words which flow generously and with beauty from the unquestionable teachings of his master, Douglas James Wilson.

But wait! There's more.

So supremely and indescribably perfect is this lesson of the true Christian meaning of "Turn the other cheek" that it could not have originated with a mere mortal!

We are faced with the inescapable, astounding conclusion that Cultmaster Wilson is really an incarnation of God and Reverend Farris a tender incarnation of Mary.

All of us who have greatly wronged the perfect and errorless Wilson (who now sits in final judgment of all) with our criticisms and slurs (which have certainly sprouted from the night soil of our ignorance) should now immediately prostrate ourselves and humbly beseech his divine forgiveness.

Perhaps we should combine our labors to build a giant throne in Friendship Square. He may then choose to sit upon it as he directs the final whirling vortex of the Rapture sucking selected members and only selected members of the Christ Church Cult to the highest regions of heaven.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Cultmaster Wilson and Reverend Farris for this overflowing with love, most revealing, and redeeming lesson.

PS. Michael Metzler:

1. Thank you illustrating your total, most pious, brimming with agape and saintly understanding of "Turn the other cheek" and other fundamentals of Christ's message by giving me the coveted, much sought after award of "the most vile intolerista there ever was." I am now the envy of all the gang gathered around the giant jar of pickled eggs at the Corner Club. However, I have already been informed that wickedly envious, more depraved others will soon be striving to wrest that invaluable, priceless award from me.

2. You have my permission to post this entire message completely, without inserted comments, and exactly as formatted in your blog http://poohsthink.com/ to demonstrate to the Cult, especially the superior, sinless innocents from Nude Saint Andrews, the depth of wickedness and depravity there exists in the world, and why the world now needs Cultmaster Wilson more than ever before to bring Christ's message (which Wilson and only Wilson truly understands by an infinitely long ways) to fight such a fetid, flesh destroying, soul infecting cancer.

3. Can we expect a response from you on Vision 2020 to my last installment on induction so that we can progress toward a discussion of the problem of evil? Or is responding to such a depraved, perverted agent of Satan now against your conscience and causes you to greatly fear for your very soul? (Or has a Cult Elder ordered you not to respond and you are bowing to his superior godliness, wisdom, and unerring knowledge of Christ's intentions by meekly and quite righteously obeying?)

Doug Jones, "Moderator" for Christ Church Elders says:

"...we have many people in this body we aim to care for."

You mean you don't "aim to care for" ALL of your members...just the select ones? Guess that's why some wives and some former workers and former/current members have been dumped unceremoniously - they weren't the right "many people in this body" that you care about much less for.

Guess the logical question is: what does one have to do to become part of the "many people" in your church that you would be willing to care for?
