[Vision2020] A Sunday afternoon stroll through Theocratic ParkIIIor Oh that

Those concerned;

I was at not only this same meeting but meetings and sermons afterward that
Wilson specifically stated he not only liked the movie but thought the
interviewer and questions were fair and non-biased. He felt that the movie
maker would "do a fair job in presenting both sides" of the issue. In fact,
at each and every public showing, the members of CC have been there
(including Dickinson). Not once did they stand up and protest the film or
any of the comments made by Wilson(both), Merkle, Wilkens, etc as being
presented in an unfair manner. Nor have any of their sites said such, as
far as I can remember. Not once!

I have a couple of questions: Have you actually even seen the movie in
question? When the movie was being shown and a small fee was charged to
enter into the theater or a donation to the food bank was asked, did you pay
to see it? If so, seems like you are a participant in something you are now
bad-mouthing.

Also - Most churches in this area and others have a directory of their
members. It is NOT uncommon for them to have a section of those in their
church that own businesses, at the end of the directory. I know for a fact
that the Catholic Church here and in other places, also uses their own
people when/if they can simply out of familiarity. The problem that I have
with Wilson is that he admonishes his people to NOT shop in other places or
use other people outside of the church unless there is no other choice. But
then Atwood claims NSA students are spending $3million at the downtown
businesses! Per year, even.

I am sure you know many Catholics that do not do this - but you do NOT know
the entire population of that church and can not be a complete spokesperson
for them and their practices.

I believe saying something like "Most Catholics I know, and there are
plenty..." tends to be a mis-statement (poor sentence construction at best.)
I guess I'm lost as to if you know most Catholics or just plenty of them?

No, I am by no means an English Major...being Irish, that would make THAT a
mis-statement were I to make such a statement, to say the least. I'm just
trying to make sure of what it is you really mean. So please, in the
language of my children - don't get pissy with me, I am just trying to
understand your meaning.

J :]
