"New St. Louis Rams coach Scott Linehan said Friday that he has talked with
University of Idaho head coach Nick Holt about joining the Rams' staff as an
assistant coach.

I'm still in the decision-making process," Holt said by phone from his
office in Moscow. "It's hard."

Linehan said he has talked to Holt about an undetermined position on his
defensive coaching staff

Asked if he thinks Holt will give up his first head coaching job to take his
first NFL job, Linehan said, "I don't know. He's going to let me know.

"I can certainly understand (Holt's indecision). He's had a lot going on
with recruiting and everything. We'll talk more.""
