Can we get a years extension on the Nature Conservancy's lease if need be?

>>We now have an opportunity to protect a unique 300 acre preserve on Moscow
>>Mountain that includes a wonderful grove of ancient cedar trees, the
>>glorious viewpoint of on the rocky top of East Moscow Mountain, and the
>>forestland between those two sites. The Nature Conservancy lease expires
>>this year, and we need to preserve this land -- as a state park or a
>>county park -- for perpetuity.
>>
>>Besides providing all of us, and our children, with a great destination,
>>designating this land as a park will help us solve some of the most
>>difficult outdoor recreation issues on the mountain. This new park will
>>focus both education and enforcement on the twin problems of motorized
>>eco-destruction and access.
>>
>>Motorized land-destroying mud-boggers and ATV drivers are ravaging Moscow
>>Mountain, and the rest of the American West. These machines chew trails
>>into eroding ruts, and kill wildlife, trees and streams. We have all seen
>>meadows and creeks churned to moonscapes because of these machines and
>>their un-thinking drivers. Through this new park on Moscow Mountain,
>>maybe we can provide enough enforcement and education to stop this
>>destruction.
>>
>>In addition, with a park there near the top of the mountain, perhaps we
>>will find the resources to resolve the access issue. If the interest in
>>visiting the new park increases, we will fix and maintain the road system
>>to make it possible for everyone to enjoy both the ride and the
>>destination.
>>
>>We need to preserve this 300 acre as a public park. Please help this
>>effort. For more information, see http://www.pcei.org/mm_cedars.htm
