[Vision2020] Clinton and U.S. Credibility

Greetings:

Recently a claim was made that Clinton's misdeed with "that woman" ruined U.S. credibility in the world. No evidence was given for that claim, but I remember many countries expressing utter atonishment that the Republican Congress would embarrass themselves by paralyzing the government over such a silly matter.

The way in which Clinton is warmly embraced wherever he goes in the world also puts the lie to such claims.

It also proves the arrangement that Dante designed for sinners in Hell. Those such a Clinton and JFK are doomed to chase their lovers (but never catch them) forever, but those who are arrogant and abuse their power are placed in the lowest regions of Hell right next to Satan, who is encased in ice, symbolizing his false pride. It will be hot for Clinton but very cold for Bush and Pinochet.

There is very clear evidence that U.S. credibility has dropped sharply because of Bush's invation of Iraq. Bush completely blew the good will that the U.S. received after 9-11 by pursuing a course of action that brought 15 million people out on the streets of all the major capitals of the world.

A Swedish arms inspector was correct: the U.S. presidency is so important that all the world's people should be able to vote in that election.

Still hoping for that first level of Hell,

Nick Gier

P. S. Just kidding of course, as a Unitarian Universalist I don't believe in Hell, except for the Hell that people and their leaders make for themselves here in earth.
