What exasperates me about the city's attitude to the problem at D street and
Mountain View is that apparently those that should have, have not spent much
or anytime observing on weekday mornings and afternoons when traffic and
children are at their highest. Should you doubt the problem, when school
starts, go and look for a morning or two.
But J Ford should not be surprised considering the length of time to put a
crosswalk across the Moscow-Pullman Highway near Tri-State. It was nice to
get a cross walk and paths, but a pedestrian activated crosswalk stoplight
on demand would lessen the problem that still exists.
