[Vision2020] Complaints Filed Against Something or Other

According to an article in the Daily News on 04/11/06:
'Diane Baumgart, who lives in the Pope, Stephens and University Heights 2nd additions filed one of the complaints and a petition signed by more than 40 neighbors.
"Illegal rental units are in direct competition with legitimate businesses that operate rental units," she wrote in her complaint. "Residents who obey the zoning code are currently being penalized. Our rights are not being respected or protected."'
Are Ms Baumgart and her 40 or more neighbors also part of the heinous plot to persecute the Wilson & Family's Cult & Cash Machine (aka the Christ Church Cult) by asking that the Moscow Zoning Laws be enforced and their property rights/neighborhood integrity be respected?
Or have Baumgart and associates just made up the noise, parking, and other problems?
Being a proud, though independent member of those termed Intoleristas by Cultmaster Wilson, I must confess that I have never heard of Baumgart before her mention in the Daily News article. Hence, I am surprised and very jealous that such a coveted title as Intolerista has been bestowed upon Baumgart without her having earned it the hard way.
Perhaps it is just my advanced age and senility or perhaps the changing times: As a previous professional planner, I know that when 40 or more people sign a zoning complaint about a particular grievance, the governing body, in this case the Moscow City Council, better act quickly, legally, and appropriately or even more citizens will become disgruntled, and will express that disgruntlement at the polls and very vociferously during the pre-election discussions.
I am a little perplexed at the "new" city council. There have been some obvious problems with Moscow City Administration for a long time, starting at the very top. The problems with so-called planning and zoning administration, most charitably described as inept and crony-centered, has been a very visible, large, and expensive carbuncle on the city's face for a long time.
It is too much for the citizens of Moscow to expect that the "new" Moscow City Council do some much needed high level staff cleansing? Or, like past councils, do they lack the guts?

Dear Nate, and other people of impeccable vision.
How are you doing today . . . Great, We'll anywho,
One thing that is so funny about the complaint is that, the people who worked so hard to bring up this extremely important city issue failed to put at least one or two names on the list who don't go to Christ Church . . .What about credibility and the 'We're not biased.' argument? Come now, there are at least a few people that I can think of that do the exact same thing . . .why aren't they on the list? No special ops?
Another is that the people who have brought and are vocal supports the compliant say, "We're not biased, we're just concerned." And then within like a few hours (or sometimes even in the same email for goodness sake) manage to call your Dad or someone else at Christ Church a bad name, or some other libelous remark. . .nice. . .
Another, which is maybe just a little ironic, is that somebody and her camera were in your Dad's yard when she knew he would not be there (Sunday morning). . .which is a little spooky . . .but wouldn't it be better to wait at least a few months to put this compliant out in lieu of this little "Do'h!"? By the way is her name on the compliant? Did she ever apologize? Was she taking shots to submit for this compliant, or were they for a future compliant.
Another, which is hilarious, is to allow the exact same people who have already raised a bunch of formal complaints against Christ Church people, to raise yet another formal complaint, and not even a month after the NSA ruling, . . . "We're not biased."
Guess what, its o.k. to be biased (we'll not in this case I guess). . .but they should just stop saying, "We're not biased!"
In order to not look so biased maybe they could file a compliant against the Coop or something like that . . .don't worry it will get struck down, which is good . . .but it might help their Credibility.
