Tony,

I'll stick my responses below your comments so I don't have to cut and
paste:

Tony: You're not providing an example of the left attacking the courts, but
instead of what you call 'the left' using the courts. Not the same thing at
all. In fact, the right has attacked the left for doing so, and the courts
for their decisions.

No, I'm not aware of this at all, really. I just googled it and saw some
cites discussing your claim, but this is the first I've ever heard of it.

Frankly, in Moscow it's not the left that's critical of Lincoln; take a look
and you'll see.

Again, it's certainly not the left in Moscow attacking public education.
Disagreements over what different people consider appropriate in school are
not attacks on public education on the whole.

Isn't Bush issuing Federal edicts right now through No Child Left Behind?
Is he on the Left?

Say, you never answered my questions regarding the right's wish to control
contraception issues. Do you believe that this is not interference in
people's personal decision-making?

And finally, yes, you oppose gay marriage and we likely won't change each
other's minds on the issue; but do you believe consensual gay sex between
adults should be criminalized?

You're on your own here.
