It is quite strange how opinion can change from one day to the next on the issue 
of Christ Church, weird.


Anyway, yes it appears as though some very creative back scratching took place when
working this deal for rental of the Kibbie Dome.  According to some 
very knowledgeable individuals, Kibbie Dome Manager, Tom McGann, is on the 
Moscow Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.  Paul Kimmel, also on that board, is an
avid Doug Wilson supporter and Christ Church member.  Bob Hieronymous, also on
the board and a Christ Church member, is the Director of Marketing at UI. 

So here is a theory for all of the people who still think that this event is ok, Tom gets
pressure from his buddies on the Chamber Board, Paul and Bob, to allow this event to take place.  Tom, may or may not have known what he was doing would infuriate students, citizens, others etc. but, he allowed it to be scheduled anyway.  Tom may have screwed up but guess what, it is not too late to fix this problem. 

Keep in mind, this is just my theory as supported by some very wise individuals.
