[Vision2020] Uproar over sex scenes in video games

There aren't many complaints over the violence "in the
popular crime video game Grand Theft Auto", but God
(and Congress) forbid if any naked bodies are shown.

Video game makers are facing a bare fact: If a hacker
wants to take the clothes off a digital character,
there is little anyone can do stop it.

Game makers are reflecting on this conundrum following
the uproar over an explicit sex scene recently
discovered in the popular crime video game Grand Theft
Auto: San Andreas. That revelation — and Rockstar
Games' acknowledgement that the scenes were built into
the game — pushed GTA's industry-approved rating from
M for mature to AO for adults only and severely
curtailed the number of retail outlets that will sell
it.
