While the renovation of the current building is all well and good
regarding the dollars spent and saved, there are other factors to
consider.

Part of the reason for a new school is the ability to have outdoor
facilities on site.  Right now, I think P.E. students are bused out to
Mountain View park for class.  There used to be room at the High School
for outdoor classes/activities, but right now what is left of the old
football field is a shadow of its' former self due to the last round of
renovations/expansions.  Maybe the people of Moscow don't think P.E. is
an intregal part of education, since it's not "intellectual" enough, so
outdoor activities be damned.  Bad enough there's not near the
vocational education opportunities there used to be.
