Shelly,

You are probably a nice person, and likewise probably
well-intentioned, but you are also sometimes uncomfortable to read for
all of your shrillness.

You write:

That isn't what Ted wrote.  He stated just the opposite, in fact.  
Here is a deconstruction:

This means that Mubito should have uttered certain statements to his
partners.  He failed to utter them, so this places him in the wrong. 
Of course, because Mubito has not been convicted of anything, he
crimes are merely alleged.

You also write:

Mubita.

Ted didn't use the word "lieing." For that matter, nor did he use the
word "lying."  However, because we are innocent until proven guilty,
Ted rightfully makes no presumptions regarding Mubito or his alleged
victims.

You write:

punctuation makes it impossible for most of us to take you seriously? 
You are so dramatic that we imagine you turning purple and
hyperventilating.

It was especially impolite of you to impugn that Ted didn't understand HIV.

Mubito probably had unprotected sex with every one of his accusers,
which Ted wasn't disputing.  He was pointing out that 1) not every
crime is as straightforward as it initially appears; and 2) that a
clear, calm voice is ultimately more effective than hysterical
wailing.
