Ralph is asserting that he is not an Orthodox Jew and does not, in
fact, believe that Orthodox Judaism is the correct interpretation.
You, he, Christians, Reform, Conservative, and Orthodox Jews,
Chasidim, and Frankists have a lot of writings in common. Orthodox
Jews may have started the franchise (and I'd argue that that's a fight
you may have to take up with Karaists, too) but your holy books have
achieved wide syndication.

At worst, Ralph may not understand the variety of Jewish heterodoxy.
This makes him a goy, not an anti-Semite.
