[Vision2020] How MSD will pay for the operation of two High
Schools

Actually, Donovan, that's not it.
Perhaps in a parallel universe there are people who would tell you that new
bulbs and double-pane glass will save us enough to eventually build an
auditorium, but in the universe I inhabit -- which seems fairly
well-populated -- it is understood that operational costs and capital
construction costs are funded from different sources.
-- When you build, you must first have a bond.
-- When you run schools, you do so from the management and operations
budget.
-- When you understand the complexities of a difficult issue, you tend not
to make simplistic comparisons and analogies that may make you feel good,
but don't enhance your stature in the eyes of your audience.
Unfortunately, only the first two points are regulated by law. The third is
something I've learned from years of life experience, and I hope it's
something you consider.

Do you remember anyone asking how the new auditorium was going to be paid
for? What I remember is that the question was how the new high school and
the remodeled school was going to be paid for...did I miss something?
