[Vision2020] With gas at $2.50 a gallon it is time tocutCrosswalknumbers

Donovan,

I am not advocating only having crosswalks at a light or stop sign. I am
saying that there are too many crosswalks. Take a drive on 3rd street and
you will understand what I am talking about. There should be many less
crosswalks on I-95 as that is a heavily traveled route by trucks. I damn
sure am not going to walk from way on the east side of town over to WinCo
and get my groceries. That just doesn't make any sense. There are a lot of
places in Moscow that need sidewalks so that always isn't an option. PLEASE
read what I said "time to cut crosswalks" not eliminate them!

Pedestrians cross the road to get to the other side but they need to do a
little planning before they go so they don't stop my 3,500# Taurus. If they
don't hustle when they cross I will blow my horn and start moving ahead.
;-))

Dick
