Moscow Arts Commission to Host Student Exhibit


  The Moscow Arts Commission will open an exhibit of the work of Moscow Junior and Senior High School art students in the Third Street Gallery on April 8.  An opening reception is scheduled for 5 - 7:30 p.m.  The exhibit will run through June 3.  



  High school art students, under the direction of Mel Siebe, will display watercolors, acrylics, fiber, photography, clay and mixed media.  Of particular interest will be a display of gargoyles which was a special class project this semester.  Students participating include: Lydia Byerlein, Ashley Clampitt, Alissa French, Tracy Potter Finns, Hayley Guenthner, Jesse Jacobson, Carleigh Jahns, Katrina Johnson, Jessie Krumpe, Jared Lien, Claudia Mahler, Nate Maxfield, Anna McGeehan, Alex Noordhock, Jenny Odenborg, Terah Parkins, Sara Quinn, Sacorra Reisenauer, Chris Sappington, Ana Schreck, Sarah Sundquist, Katlin Williams and Tyson Woodbury.  



  Junior high art instructor, David Graham, has also selected student work to be displayed.



  The Third Street Gallery is located on the second and third floors of Moscow City Hall at 206 East Third Street.  Gallery hours are Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.  For information contact the Moscow Arts Commission at 208-883-7036.
