Ever since joining the v2020 list I've been impressed by both the
content and quantity of some of the members. I have not posted much
lately due to the fact that the ongoing debates have been provincial and
I'm an ex-pat who's opinion about such matters is irrelevant to Moscow
voters. It's still interesting.

Here in Montana I can find no such list group that compares to V2020,
but we do have a very active blogging community. Matt Singer, a
colleague of Joan's and mine at http://newwest.net is beginning to
compile a kind of "best of the week" of Montana bloggers. It's good,
it's fun and (the best part) it's free.
It includes everything form poetry to politics to the foibles of
living. You can find it at http://leftinthewest.com/index.php?p=574 .

If anyone is interested in becoming a blogger there is a free blog site
at http://www.blogspot.com. Blogging software is 1/100th the work of
writing HTML code, so sties like Tom Hansen's may really benefit from
changing formats. If anyone is interested in more sophisticated
blogging software, I've done the research and would gladly share it with
anyone who's interested off list. Just drop me a line.
