[Vision2020] About Debates

For those interested in "real" debates, you might find this site 
interesting.  Of course "real debates" are framed around a team as follows:

First proposition constructive speech

First opposition constructive speech

Second proposition constructive speech

Second opposition constructive speech

Opposition rebuttal 4 minutes

Proposition rebuttal 5 minutes

As discussions are framed for creating a "debate" for the next election, 
those interested might peruse the parliamentary style - this form is 
derived from the Brits and can be most effective.

Otherwise, one has to create an ersatz form - say the presidential debates 
- oh about 35 pages of rules - something of that order.
