Ms. Gray,
Do we have selective reading? Are you reading things that people didn't
write? Are you making assumptions about people?
Please tell me exactly where it is that anybody said that Mr.Trail was gone
under the Americans with Disabilities Act? Who is harassing Mr Trail for
taking a medical leave of absence? Who is harassing Mr. Trail for taking
care of his Family?
I seem to recall stating that if Mr. Trail is NOT gone for Medical Reasons,
then 3 weeks is a long time. The Americans with Disabilities Act, and the
Family Leave of Absence are medical reasons. Reasons which Mr. Trail says he
doesn't qualify under.
I happen to think that if someone is gone, a great deal of time, who is not
gone for a medical reasons, is not doing their job. I expect that they ran
for the job because they wanted to represent us and people voted for them,
lie me, because they wanted to be represented by him and expect him to be
there.
If Mr. Trail is having to leave for medical reasons, I would accept that as
reason for someone being gone. Being sick, or taking care or needy family
member qualifies as a medical reason. If Mr. Trail has a disability, then we
should make sure that he is given all the accommodations he needs to do his
job in Representing the people of Latah County.
Mr. Trail just said in his email, that he is in perfect health. If he is in
perfect health, why is he missing representing Moscow Residents?
I think it is absurd and unacceptable for you to accuse people of ignoring
the American Disabilities Act, and the Family Leave of Absence, when in fact
this isn't even a issue in conversation. Your situation is not Mr. Trails
situation.
Are Representatives to be allowed to represent people in their district
whenever they just feel like it, and just take off whenever they want? Is
your opinion of the people in Moscow so low that you think we don't deserve
constant and proper representation?
Take Care,
Donovan J Arnold
PS, "I am waiting to see if Mark Solomon will post his medical records for
the past 15 years."--Is a disgusting statement. I would never require or ask
anyone to do this. If you asked this of me as a job requirement, I would
file charges against you and you would most likely be fired from your job.
this is unacceptable behavior, especially from someone that values their own
privacy so much. Even jokingly, this is demented and would be illegal in the
private sector.
