Town Meetings to Discuss changes to Land Use Regulations

The Latah County Planning Commission will conduct three town meetings in
June to receive input from residents regarding possible changes to the
County's land use ordinances. The Commission will meet at 6:30 PM on Monday
June 7th, 2004 at the Potlatch High School Library, Tuesday June 8th, 2004
in Room 2B of the Latah County Courthouse in Moscow, and Wednesday June 9th,
2004 at the Deary High School Library.

The Commission is particularly interested in public comments regarding
potential regulations for junk, animal feedlots, and prohibition of
development in the floodplain, and will have several other topics available
for discussion as well. The Commission will make a brief presentation, but
is primarily interested in hearing community preferences for inclusion in
the County's new land use regulations.

Come and voice your opinion!
