LOL, nice Scott.
I think it should not be called the "Defense of Marriage Act". It should be
called "Prevention of Gays from Marrying Act." See if the government was
concerned about keeping Marriage a sacred act they would outlaw getting 6 divorces
and require tighter restrictions on marriage. They would also stop marriage
between 18 year-olds and 81 year olds. What is funny is how so many of the
people that signed that legislation have been married like 2 or 3 times and/or been
caught having affairs.
It is just a ploy to cover up the discrimination of Gays and help them feel
better about themselves. Just like the Civil War was about State Rights, not
Slavery. Of course, no one bothers to acknowledge that the only state right the
South wanted was the right to practice Slavery.
