I hope everyone will take the time to thank Our Representatives, Tom Trail
and Shirley Ringo, for all their hard work on our behave thus far in the Idaho
State Legislature.
Please also wish and/or pray, that Mr. Trail's surgery goes well.
My thoughts on some of the latest Bills the Legislature is considering:

have many legislators who signed on to support it, unfortunately, leadership

To bad. Maybe we can encourage constituents of those Legislatures that oppose
this legislation to contact their legislature and remind them of the upcoming
election.

to open meetings laws. I've been told that the issue will be studied between
sessions."
Anyone that opposes this bill should be asked, "What are you hiding from us?"
8. Health Insurance for Kids -- Legislators voted to restrict thousands of
children from two health insurance programs.(. . .)
Two Questions. 1) Does the author of this bill have horns, a tail, and forked
tongue? 2) How precisely does the State save money when are hospitals are
filled with dying and suffering uninsured children?
9. SB1233 -- Sen. Stegner pulled this bill which would have allowed
children to be directly charged for failing to educate their children.
HUH? Do you mean charging parents for not educating their children? Why is
this bad? I think if a Parent pulls their kid out of public school and as a
consequence the child fails to learn the skills needed to survive in society on
their own, the parents should be charged with a crime. It is called Child
Neglect. It happens everyday in mass in Idaho and should be stopped.
"On Monday I will go to St. Al's Hospital for a surgical procedure, and be
out for a week. Dr. Earl Bennett, retired Dean of the U. of I.'s College of
Mines will be my substitute. I'll still be able to communicate with
constituents via ttrail@house.state.id.us"
