Saundra,

Suggestions for the business name of the establishment you propose for
replacing Zume:

Sex, Games, and Wine with Saint Andrews Watching

Games, Wine, and Sex Beneath Saint Andrews

I don't think these are stretches because many people believe that besides
having the brownest lips on the Palouse, Dean Roy Atwood of New Saint
Andrews is the biggest whore in town.

Some other business suggestions:

Using Delusions to Exploit People's Weaknesses While Making Millions This
would be a Moscow Idaho Christ Church Cult Master Douglas Wilson company and
would vend his special expertise.

Beneath the Mature Spreaders A farm machinery repair business that
recognizes the special properties of New Saint Andrews.

Fear City Academy A school teaching how to use the fear of any alleged god
for her self-appointed agents to flimflam, control, intimidate, and to
manipulate people.

Breasts, Buns, and Barbells A clothing optional personal fitness gym with
special one way mirrors on the ceiling so that New Saint Andrews students
and faculty could study what normal people do while naked.

Old Roy Dog Food Outlet This dog food would not be the same as sold in
WalMart but would be manufactured from the tons of unsold Zume
uncomestibles. It would be named after New Saint Andrews Dean Roy Atwood as
a reward for his dog-like fealty. Another Douglas Wilson Company recycling
garbage.

Collegiate Reformed Steam Baths A steam bath/short term small room rental
business where members of the gay community could mix with culties from
Christ Church and New Saint Andrews to explore their common, special
interests in a warm, steamy, supportive, Christian environment. Cult Master
Douglas Wilson would make occasional visits disguised as Mark Spitz (at
least while clothed).

Well, inquiring=20
minds *do* want to know!
>
> Now that I've picked myself up =
off the=20
floor from ROTFLOL over Mr. Fox's
> suggestions, I realize this =
could be a=20
golden opportunity. I would love to
> own a small local =
business=20
that could add to the character of our community
> and provide a =
public=20
service as well!
>
> However, I need a few questions =
answered=20
first.
>
> Ms. Huskey asked an important question: is =
there=20
actual physical space for
> sale, or would one be stuck leasing =
from that=20
wolf in sheep's clothing or
> some arm of Wilson World? =
While I=20
might be interested in purchasing the
> space, I definitely =
wouldn't want=20
to lease the space from people who think
> feminism, equal rights, =
and=20
abortion are abominations.
>
> Second, whatever happened =
with=20
Moscow's Great Safe Heist of 2004? As a
> potential business =
owner,=20
I'd want to make sure that whole thing had been
> satisfactorily=20
resolved. Were the culprits ever caught? If not, then as =
a
>=20
prudent potential business owner, I'd have grave doubts about the safety =

of
> my investment. After all, I'd sure hate for my safe to =
sprout=20
legs and walk
> off unnoticed!
>
> Third, have there =
been any=20
reports of hauntings in the building? This might
> sound a =

out, but that building has apparently been cursed since NSA
> took =
it=20
over, what with the Great Safe Heist, the alleged vandalisms, =
and
> the=20
failure of Zume. I have to wonder if the Good Lord is trying to=20
send
> them a message that they've got it all wrong. Now, of =
course,=20
a great many
> of us in the community *know* Wilson World has it =
all=20
wrong, but how wise
> would it be to start up a business in such =
close=20
proximity to the target of
> God's wrath??? According to =
Wilson=20
World, one needs to look no further than
> the South to see what =

when God gets really p*ssed.
>
> Finally, should someone =
commit a=20
crime or become financially indebted to me,
> would I have the =

or would my business space be subject to
> Wilson World's =
theocratic=20

slavery *or* executions!
>
> Assuming I receive favorable =

business to=20
go into that space! After much long & hard
> thought =
about what=20
would fit into the character of the building and the
> people =
there, as=20
well as providing a form of entertainment currently lacking
> for =
a=20
segment of the community, I've hit on an idea. Now, I'm not =
very
>=20
creative by nature, so I'm hoping some of you here (perhaps Mr. Fox or=20
Ms.
> Opyr) will be able to help me come up with a name for my=20
future
> establishment, but here's My Idea . . .
>
> =
I think=20
the location would be ideal for a nice little Poker/Blackjack =

successful=20
because other participants
> are still around, and with all those =

a=20
guaranteed continual influx of interested
> new clients =
> Due to legal restrictions, I couldn't serve alcohol to minors =
the way=20
the
> Real Morton Street House did when they wanted more =
action/bigger=20
stakes.
> However, I think those fine young men showed their true=20

up so that the inner workings of my
> business wouldn't be visible =
to the=20
public, so perhaps topfree and low rise
> clones would be a better =
draw=20

because=20
the idiots who pushed for Moscow Ordinance 2002-13
> didn't think =
to=20
regulate SOBs (sexually oriented businesses) because they
> were =
more=20
worried about the effects of breasts than sex.
>
> But, =
IMHO,=20
here's the *best* part of the business: I wouldn't need to =
worry
>=20
about collecting gambling debts! Christ Church would come up with =
the=20
money
> out of the church's General Fund to pay for the debts of =
any of=20
their flock
> just like they did with the Morton Street =
House!
>=20
> Of course, those folks might then be subject to enslavement by =
Wilson=20
World
> since, technically, they would be indebted to Wilson =
World, but .=20
. . if
> that's their interpretation of the Bible, maybe I'd be =
doing them=20
a favor by
> giving them a means to pretend that they live in a=20
theocracy. After all,
> who am I to tell them -- or =
their=20
pastor -- they are just plain WRONG
> about their Biblical=20
interpretation? And, if when faced with the actual
> =
prospect of=20
enslavement by Wilson World they decide they don't like it, well
> =
. . .=20
then I guess they can just be put to death since that's their
>=20
interpretation (Deuteronomy 17:12; I Tim. 1: 8-11).
>
> =
