Interesting you should mention this one.
When Steve Wilkins was asked what the Bible has to say about interracial
marriage during his "The Sin of Racism" presentation on 2/4, this was the
point he raised. "Believers" of any "color" are free to marry, however a
"Believer" is NOT EVER free to marry an "Unbeliever" of *any* "color".
My understanding is that a "Believer" is not merely someone who believes in
God or a deity. A "Believer" must also believe in a particular
flavor/interpretation of Christianity *only* (the Trinity; the Bible as
literal truth and historically accurate; feminism, equal and gay rights, and
abortion are abominations; slavery is Biblically mandated; theocracy is the
goal; etc) and all the rest of us fall into the category of "Unbelievers."
Or, perhaps Intoleristas ;-)
Hence, it would seem to me that those who espouse a belief in that
particular flavor of Christianity would have a *very* small pool from which
to choose an "eligible" marital partner regardless of gender.
Sorry, it's hard for me to take someone like Steve Wilkins seriously. He
said absolutely horrifyingly deplorable things about "pagan" Native
Americans and Muslims (they are an incredibly violent people because they
are unitarians and thus have no choice but to live by the sword) -- I don't
think I've ever in my life heard the word 'pagan' used so many times in just
a few minutes. I don't think there were any Native Americans or Muslims
present, which was probably a good thing because the way he talked about
those cultures definitely qualified as "fighting words" (they literally made
me sick to my stomach) and I think the poor MPD officers present would have
definitely not had such a boring time.
Plus, IMHO, he's an *extremely* sorry excuse for a Southerner: he spent a
fair amount to time extolling the virtues of Southern cuisine without once
mentioning the Rapture of Fried Okra. What kind of Southerner could he
really be?!?!

I thought you might find some of the suggestions below, interesting.
(-;
As certain politicians work diligently to prevent marriage between
two people of the same sex, perhaps we should be busy drafting a
Constitutional Amendment codifying all marriages entirely on
biblical principles.
After all, God wouldn't want us to "pick and choose"
which of the Scriptures we elevate to civil law and which we choose to
ignore.
Here are some things that we really should consider:
* Marriage in the United States of America shall consist of a union
between one man and one or more women. (Gen 29:17-28; II Sam 3:2-5.)
* Marriage shall not impede a man's right to take concubines in
addition to his wife or wives. (II Sam 5:13; I Kings 11:3; II Chron
11:21)
* A marriage shall be considered valid only if the wife is a virgin.
If the wife is not a virgin, she shall be taken to the gates of the
city and stoned to death. (Deut 22:13-21)
* Marriage of a believer and a non-believer shall be forbidden.
(Gen 24:3; Num 25:1-9; Ezra 9:12; Neh 10:30, 2Cor
6:14)
* Since marriage is for life, neither the US Constitution nor any
state law shall permit divorce. (Deut 22:19; Mark
10:9-12)
* If a married man dies without children, his brother must marry the
widow. If the brother refuses to marry the widow, or deliberately
does not give her children, he shall pay a fine of one shoe and be
otherwise punished in a manner to be determined by law. (Gen. 38:6-
10; Deut 25:5-10)
* In lieu of marriage (if there are no acceptable men to be found),
a woman shall get her father drunk and lie down with him to keep the
clan alive. (Gen 19:31-36)
* When you go to war and you see among the captives a beautiful girl
you want as your wife, take her home with you. She must shave her
head and pare her nails and change her clothing, laying aside that
which she was wearing when she was captured, then remain in your
house in mourning for her mother and father for a full month. After
which you can marry her. (Deut
21:10-13)
* In a man rapes a girl who is not engaged, and is caught in the
act, he must pay a fine to the girl's father and marry her; he shall
never divorce her. (Deut. 22:28-29)
I hope this helps to clarify the finer details of the Government's
righteous struggle against the infidels and heathens among us.
