Tim,

My apologies if you felt that I was responding to your statement of
facts. There is such a long chain of emails:

Barbara was responding to Bill London and you were somewhat critical of
her response to Bill. My response to you was supporting Barbara
response. In the future I will try to be more exacting on "who stated
what" in this lengthy thread. We sometimes assume that others are
thinking in the same sequence as ourselves (vanity I assume *chuckle*).
Again my apologies for the misunderstanding.

So let me state this a bit more clearly. You felt that Barbara's
response to Bill London implied that people questioning Alturas are
anti-business. I looked through her post and all I find is a discussion
of the advantages of business growth in the community. It was a well
written post on this subject. I saw no such implications as you stated.

I, on the other hand, am a bit more critical - not of the questioning -
but of the facts that are put forward to support the position. When
facts are exaggerated to prove this point - yes - I do believe that a
certain amount of anti-business sentiment is arising. If the argument
cannot be supported on the true facts, then it has little validity.

Again (since we had this misunderstanding once) I am directing this
towards earlier posts that are not yours.
