Bruce-
I am glad you are not supportive of moving the market.
The key point is that (according to the EDC shopper survey in 2002) the 
#1 reason people come downtown to shop is the Farmers Market (this of 
course is for summer months--the #1 retail destination downtown all year 
round is the Moscow Food Co-op).
Moving the market endangers downtown --I think it is as simple as that.
