When did this universal sentiment, reflected in your words quoted above,
come of age—and by whom (which vanguard nation, race, religion, culture,
civilization, etc.)? In other words, exactly when, prior to the Universal
Declaration of Human Rights, did everybody jump on the bandwagon?
