Wisconsin Governor Vetoes Marriage Bill

MADISON, Wis. - Gov. Jim Doyle has vetoed a bill that
would define marriage in Wisconsin as solely between a
man and woman, saying state law already clearly
prohibits same-sex marriage and the legislation was
"mean-spirited."
