Linda:
just a clarification here--of course, you did not encourage businesses
to leave downtown and move to the Alturas Tech Park.
Filling the Alturas Park with non-tech businesses from downtown is not
in your interest.
It is however, in the economic interest of both the real estate company
handling the transactions and the owners of the new Park Place mini-mall
building looking for tenants to do exactly that. So, they are
recruiting businesses of whatever kind into Alturas.
And Moscow taxpayers lose both by subsidizing the Alturas Tech Park in
the first place and in vacancies created downtown.
