I hate to break this to you, but we spent $985,500,000 for the Idaho
Government Schools in 2003.=20
That's *anything* but "free".
It would be more accurate to say that we don't charge a tuition for the
$985,500,000 worth of education that we give away.=20
But, for accuracy, it's *anything* but free! =20
Best,
Dale

I never said it was free, I said it was "free" (i.e. we don't pay =
tuition,
but I'm not so unedumacated that I don't realize I already pay for it --
heck, why do you think I use it?).

Whoa!
John Danahy and Dan Carscallen are making the claim that Public =
Education
is supposed to free.
I help pay for public education, and not by my choice.
The money is forcibly taken from me and then given to only one of the =
five=20
educational systems that everyone here on this board has agreed that =
exist.
I still don't understand that when there are five choices that parents =
can=20
make regarding educating their children, I am forced to help pay for one =
of=20
those. I dont get any choice as to where my money goes.
No, all education should be "tuition" based. Let the best educational=20
choice win!
I am pro-choice for education.
Cheers!
