Don, et. al.

You need to read my vision2020 post carefully so you can answer my main
points!

Yes of course I read that you had doubts about the war in Iraq.

If you really want to address my vision2020 post, these are my questions:

Are you denying you made the comment about "pacifist pets" in a vision2020
post, which can only be interpreted as a condescending low blow slam against
pacifists?

You depicted your concerns about how we conduct the war in Iraq, if we wage
it, in terms of U.S. casualties, not the horrors that will be inflicted on
civilians in Iraq. I suggested we should also emphasize civilian horror
inflicted on Iraq.

Do you think that people, such as myself, who emphasize the cruelty to
civilians that will result from U.S. military action, need to "lighten up,"
as you phrased it?

The quote from Patton had nothing to do with really defining war in a
military science sense, it seems to me.

Were you being ironic when you said the Patton quote about the "poor dumb
S.O.B" dying for his country was a "lovely sentiment?"

I do not think I need to "lighten up" when I also point out that debating
whether the war in Iraq is really a "war" or a "massacre" is, as I stated,
absurd and callous. It will be a horrifying massacre against a nation with
few defenses, without a doubt.

Finally, I asked if you are aware of what the future of the human race will
portend if we do not abandon the habit of war.

Well?

Do you mean to suggest you are becoming one of those "pacifist pets?"

If so, welcome!

"Lighten up?" When Bush is removed from office, along with his other
militaristic cronies, maybe!

Yours in peace for the human family,

Ted
