Now the city staff suggests that $1 million in liability insurance is
needed for any alcohol event on city property (see below).
If the Council agrees, what will happen to events like wedding
receptions at the 1912 Building?
Will any local caterers be able to afford the insurance?
Will this proposal eliminate a major source of funding for the 1912
Building?
Why is this insurance needed?
