Do you understand scholarships? I can start a scholarship by creating a
scholarship fund and requiring that the recipient of the scholarship have
sandy blonde hair, IQ must be evenly divisible by 3, and must be able to hop
on one foot while singing "Put Another Candle on My Birthday Cake"
backwards.

Certainly the quantity of scholarships of those 21 students is impressive.
What would be more impressive would be the requirements to receive those
scholarships.

Jus a thought,

Tom Hansen

Tom, I'm really surprised at this comment. I wouldn't expect you to stoop so
low and bury your head in the sand like this.

Logos has a reputation for not only turning out godly children but also high
academic achievers. And these achievements are known both locally as well as
around the nation. In fact, Logos has such a reputation that it's is being
modeled even in countries overseas.

For example, last year we had 21 kids graduate from Logos. Here are some of
the scholarships (which you won't read about in the Daily News):

*	Washington & Lee - W & L Grant

*	Washington & Lee - National Merit Scholarship

*	Georgia Tech - GT Grant, non-resident

*	Georgia Tech - Dukin Ferris Sch

*	Georgia Tech - James Finley Sch

*	Georgia Tech - J & E Stucklaw Sch

*	Georgia Tech - Sidney Goldin Sch

*	Washington U. - Gustav Rust Mesner Sch.

*	Washington U. - Deans Honorary Sch.

*	Oklahoma Univ. - Nat. Merit Sch

*	WSU - Cougar Academic Award

*	WSU - WSU Achievement Award

*	WSU - WSU Scholar in Residence Award

*	Azuza Pacific - Dean's Scholarship

*	Pell Grant

*	Whitman College - William O. Douglas scholarship

*	Whitman College - Whitman Grant

*	Idaho Promise Scholarship

*	Idaho Presidential Scholarship

*	Presidential Leadership Scholarship

*	Hogue Family Centenial Civil

*	Idaho Academic Scholarship

*	Access Grant

*	Ziegler Education Foundation

*	Idaho Academic Scholarship

*	Presidential Achievement Scholarship

Not bad for 21 kids from average income families in the back-woods of Idaho
being taught by teachers without an education degree!

Think what they could do if instead of spending <$3,000 per kid they got
those $6,000 per kid that MST gets!

But there's an old expression: "My mind is made up. Don't confuse me with
the facts!"
