[Vision2020] A few statistics

Im a bit uncertain as to why we are suddenly picking on the airlines. You
cant swing a dead cat without hitting a subsidized entity. My tax dollars
help pay the salaries of a lot of people on this list. How about farm
subsidies? Who pays for the roads you drive on?
But like the farming industry, the road infrastructure and the educational
system - the airline industry is a strategic part of the American economy.
Many times, strategic decisions are made that are independent of the bottom
line. That doesnt make the airlines an automatic for receiving
government aid, but we need to think a little more holistically then just
the profit margin.
